Dec. 20, 1980 Collection of waste plastics is transferred to
KORACO by the Ministry of Home Affairs
Sep. 25, 1986 KOREACO is comossioned by the government to collect
empty pesticide bottles
Oct. 27, 1988 construction of the Cheonju Waste Film Treatment
Factory is copleted
Jul. 01, 1991 KOREACO expands the collection of recycclable
waste with the introduction of the Waste separation and Collection
System
Nov. 15, 1991 Construction of Andong Waste Film Treatment Factory
is copleted
Sep. 11, 1993 Construction of Damyang Waste Film Treatment Factory
is copleted
Apr. 01, 1994 The Korea Resources Recovery and Reutillzation
Corporation Act is put into effect
Dec. 20, 1995 Construction of Shilhwa Waste Film Treatment Factory
is copleted
Mar. 31, 2000 Construction of strorage depots in 3 locations
is completed
Jun. 19, 2002 The headquarters of KOREACO moves onto the General
Environmental Research Complex
Aug. 29, 2002 KOREACO operates the Legal Waste Disposal Management
System
Nov. 07, 2002 Construction of intermediate treatment facillties
for waste film recycling in 3 locations is completed
Jan. 01, 2003 KOREACO operates the Extended Producers Responsibillty
system
Dec. 30, 2003 ENVICO's revised law is announced
Jul. 01, 2004 The corporation name(KOREACO) is chaged into ENVICO
Nov. 16, 2004 Construction of the Jeongup Waste Film Treatment
Factory is completed
Jan. 19, 2006 China Branch is launched in Beijing
Feb. 21, 2006 Vietnam Branch is launched in Hanoi |
