Waste Information System |
Overview |
|
| |
 |
Objective |
| Our goal is to promote the proper treatment and recycling
of ever-increasing construction wastes. To that end, we have
established a database on construction waste generation and
treatment, and on the production, sale, and distribution of
recycled aggregate, which has enabled us to computerize public
and administrative affairs (e.g. construction waste related
performance reports and recycling statistics). Through this
database we are able to provide quick statistics and streamline
administrative proceedings. |

10 (Establishment of Construction Waste Information Management
System)
- Related data and information are offered for the environmentally-friendly
treatment of construction wastes and the establishment of a
recycled aggregate distribution system, including capital and
management status, technical capacity, and service implementation
status of construction waste collection businesses and intermediate
treatment businesses. |

Effect
of the System |
|
| |
 |
The system provides practical support to construction
waste treatment businesses by creating a business atmosphere
in which, rather than their being directly involved in recycled
aggregate production, institutional assistances such as production/demand
information are provided to them. |
|
| |
 |
It offers information on aggregate demand through
public construction bidding information and construction performance
management, and systematically manages the demand and supply
of recycled aggregate through smooth distribution of high quality
recycling aggregates. |
|
| |
 |
The reliable statistics provided can be used
as basic data to establish policies for the proper treatment
of construction wastes and the demand/supply of aggregates. |
|
| |
 |
Through a systemized process of recycling aggregate
production and distribution, it can secure the economic value
of wastes by promoting the use of aggregates. As well, the lower
extraction of natural aggregates reduces damage to the natural
environment, thus contributing to the early establishment of
a resource recycling system. |
|
| |
 |
The systemized reporting of construction waste
performance enables quick reporting and real-time checking,
making it possible to reduce administrative work and improve
user convenience. |
