Operation of Waste Film Recycling Facilities
In order to recycle agricultural waste film that is neglected after farming activities, ENVICO operates 5 waste film recycling facilities and 8 intermediate treatment facilities.
Even though 257,000 ton(as of 2004) agricultural waste film is generated in the country, aging trend in the rural areas and nonprofitability of this business make difficult to collect them. Consequently, wasted film aggravates agricultural productivity and pollutes soil.
ENVICO has installed and operated waste film recycling facilities since 1989. Currently, 5 facilities treat waste film 33,000 ton/y, leading the environment pollution prevention and resource recycling.

Operation of Waste Film Treatment Facilities
In order to recycle agricultural waste film that is neglected after farming activities, ENVICO operates 5 waste film recycling facilities and 8 intermediate treatment facilities.
As growing number of mulching film is used for greenhouses and controlling weed growth, the proper treatment of agricultural waste film has become important challenge.
ENVICO installs and operates waste film treatment facilities with the capacity of 69,000 tons/y at 8 branches such as Anseong in Gyeonggi, Yeongi in Chungnam, Hapcheon/Euireong in Gyeongnam, Seongju/Daegu in Gyeongbuk, Jeongeup in Jeonbuk, and Naju in Jeonnam. The treated products are supplied to private recycling companies for various usages such as septic tanks, wooden bowls, flowerpots, electric wire protecting tubes, and various blocks.
